My bench saw has a pretty bad wobble as the blade turns. It adds a 1/2 to 2 mm to any cut I make. Its particularly noticeable as the blade slows.
When the blade is stationary I can move it side to side a wee bit.
I'm guessing that the bearings are worn and need replacing.
Has anyone had a similar problem with their saw and how difficult was it to source the spares needed and diy.
Other than this problem the tool is in pretty good nick, even though it is about 10 years old.
So I'm hoping that the situation isn't terminal..
Any help/advice will be much appreciated,
Cheer, Rod
