Great tool,s find

dimanche 16 août 2015

Just a quick note for all you tool junkies like myself .
We spent this morning at Daylesford market
.Next door to the old train station .
About two minutes from the centre of town .
OMG if it was not for Sally ,I would be very much more in debt tonight ,then I already am ,and our work van would be looking like a low rider .
No pics to many people around sorry.
But for a teaser ,one trader there at I would say 100 plus old Triton and Ward chisels on the table
50 or so hand planes ,saws ,drill bits ,taps dies, measuring gear, oil cans I think he at about 10/12 card tables full yes full and the gear looked to be in good nick not rusty junk, plus one special table near the back I didn't ask ? prices I think we're fair.
Then after being dragged kicking and screaming from that trader by Sally we looked and brought some more soap because um we need it ,I was told plus incense sticks well fair it was Daylesford.
And they smell nicer than my WD 40 oil burner lol
It all happened again it was like ground hog tool moment for me ,another trader another 10 plus card tables more tools tools nice tools O the tools looking lonely .
All in about 4/ traders with quality old tools not over priced chipped and rusted junk.
So $100 later one 4 1/2 Bailey ,one saw vice ,one pair of prober made scissors and a few other little bits .
Could I've easily ,easily been $1000/10,000but that's in my dreams .

Matt
