Hi all,
Am gearing up to build a TV console and will be using quality plywood for the cabinet/carcass. I'm not familiar with plywoods available on the Australian market but US-based woodworking resources often mention cherry and mahogany, for example, face veneers.
Is the plywood sold on the Aussie market available with different veneers? I typically see hoop pine veneer cited and luan seems to be common; I assume hoop pine would have a white/yellow colour and from what I understand Luan comes in white and red varieties.
If I wanted a jarrah veneer, would that exist? If I wanted a cherry or walnut veneer, would that be available in WA?
Many thanks in advance, as always,
Michael
