Cleaning rock retaining wall..

Hi, wanting to clean the rock retaining wall at the front of our place. Is the best way a gurney? Anyone got any pointers of know

of any good cleaners to apply first?

It's on the footpath so don't want to be hosing anything too toxic out into the street.
