I had some queensland maple left over from my last guitar body I made, so I sliced it up and turned it into this box. With queensland maple as you might know it's a lottery as to the colour and texture of the grain that you get. Different pieces of it vary so much, even from the same slab. This box started as an idea in my head and I adapted as I went along. Trying to work the little drawers into it etc. I am pretty happy with the final outcome.
It's quite a bit larger than the usual ones I make, ended up being a nice challenge.
