Makita tools price differences 389 to 650 for same tool.

I was after a DA3011F, its an angle drill.

Looks like an angle grinder with a chuck on it.



I did a few looks around the web and most seemed to be $595.

But a local tool shop had them for $389.

Hey that's a great price.

I thought I'd ring BGS for a price as well, they needed to check as they don't stock it.

$650 was their price.



Now I know I could have taken the local tool shop price and got it 10% less than that at the BGS.

But to my way of thinking its We'll rip you off unless you can catch us out.

So I got it local tool shop.

I'll buy from the person that gives me a price, not the one who we'll beat it.....

I do the same with new car dealers. I'd rather deal with the one that gives me a price than the one that says we'll beat any price you get elsewhere.
